Terms of use
These terms govern the use of the Joyería KY-8 website.
What this site is and is not
It is an informational catalogue. It is not an online shop.
The site does not sell, does not charge, does not process orders and does not accept payments. Its purpose is to show you the pieces and put you in touch with the shop. Every purchase is agreed over WhatsApp or in person at the premises.
Prices
- Prices shown are indicative and may change without notice.
- Each price is shown in the currency stated beside it. No conversion is made between currencies: the valid amount is the one in the currency stated.
- Some pieces show no price. In those cases the page says «Ask for the price», and it is given when you write to us.
- The final price of a transaction is the one confirmed in conversation before it is closed.
Availability
Most pieces are unique or held in very limited numbers. A piece appearing in the catalogue neither reserves it nor guarantees its availability.
Pieces marked as unavailable remain visible for information, so that someone who saw them earlier can find them and understand what happened.
Photographs
The photographs show the actual pieces. The colour, brightness and size you perceive depend on your screen, so they may differ from the physical piece.
Payment and collection
- Payment is accepted by Zelle and in person at the shop.
- The details for Zelle payment are given only in the WhatsApp conversation. They are never published on the site.
- There is no home delivery. Collection is always at the premises.
Opening hours
- Shop: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 15:00. Closed on Sundays, except for special dates announced on the site.
- WhatsApp: you may write at any hour. Replies come within opening hours.
Proper use of the site
In using this site you undertake not to:
- Attempt to reach restricted areas or interfere with its operation.
- Extract its content in bulk or by automated means.
- Impersonate Joyería KY-8 or use its name, logo or photographs to pass yourself off as the shop.
- Send automated messages, unsolicited advertising or unlawful content through the contact channels.
Availability of the service
We aim to keep the site continuously available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, by technical faults or for reasons beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Liability
Joyería KY-8 is answerable for the information it publishes about its pieces and for the service it provides. It is not answerable for damage arising from improper use of the site, nor for the content of the third-party sites it links to.
Nothing written here excludes liability that Cuban law does not permit to be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The applicable version is the one published at the time of your visit, bearing the date shown at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cuba. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts under that law.
